Through out my career as a DJ for the last 20 years the most important part of it was music knowledge. Now let me explain why, it's important to be able to play the right kind of music at the right venue.  You can't play rocking EDM at a restaurant when people are eat or vice versa. So it's really important to have music knowledge.  Now there are a few websites to find music: 1. Beatport -  https://www.beatport.com/ 2. Traxsource -  https://www.traxsource.com/ 3. Junodownload -  https://www.junodownload.com/ 4. Bandcamp -  https://bandcamp.com/   (Which I'm using mostly to find music not release on the above sites) Which will set you apart from other DJs. and many more, you should really consider buying music as it helps the artist who produce them.
